Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including detailed medical history collection, visual acuity testing, and slit-lamp examinations.
- Operate and interpret results from advanced ophthalmic diagnostic tools, including A-Scan, AR imaging, NCT, and related equipment.
- Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of ocular conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, refractive errors, and retinal diseases.
- Perform cataract surgeries using Phacoemulsification techniques with precision, adherence to clinical protocols, and a focus on optimal outcomes.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and compliant medical records in line with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Deliver pre
- and post-operative care, including patient education, medication prescription, and follow-up monitoring.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
- Manage an average caseload of 68 outpatient consultations daily and 1012 cataract surgeries monthly.
- Engage in ongoing professional development through continuing education, clinical audits,
and staying current with advancements in ophthalmology.
Requirements:
- MBBS degree with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Ophthalmology (MD/MS in Ophthalmology).
- Valid medical license and registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or equivalent regulatory body.
- Practical experience with A-Scan, AR imaging, Phacoemulsification, and NCT devices.
- Proven ability to perform cataract surgeries with safety, efficiency, and clinical excellence.
- Strong clinical reasoning and diagnostic accuracy in managing diverse eye conditions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient interaction and team collaboration.
- Adaptability to a quick-paced clinical environment with defined daily and monthly case targets.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and digital documentation platforms.
