Job Title: Special Educator (Shadow Teacher)

Working Days: Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM

Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Special Educator (Shadow Teacher) to provide one-to-one classroom support to a Class 1 student with mild Autism Spectrum Disorder and speech delay in an inclusive school setting.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide full classroom shadow support (sit beside the child during class)
- Simplify and reinforce teacher instructions
- Assist with note-writing and classwork completion
- Prepare modified worksheets when required
- Support peer interaction and social participation
- Implement behavior regulation strategies
- Maintain daily observation records
- Coordinate with the class teacher for academic alignment
- Provide weekly progress updates to parents

No toilet assistance or physical mobility support is required._

Eligibility Criteria
- B.Ed in Special Education (mandatory):
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience:
- Prior experience working with:
- Children with Autism
- Early primary age group (Class 1 level)
- Inclusive school settings
- Speech delay cases

Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of Autism and inclusive education practices
- Ability to create and implement basic IEP strategies
- Effective classroom behavior management skills
- Good communication and documentation abilities
- Patience, emotional regulation, and structured approach

Job Types: Full time, Part-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
