Ethical Trade and Environmental Sustainability at Primark

As a key member of our expansive EMEAA team, you'll collaborate with suppliers, champion ethical practices, and make a tangible difference. All with the purpose of ensuring we meet social compliance, environmental sustainability legislative requirements, industry initiatives and standards.

This unique and strategic current role is designed to fortify our Ethical Trade programme across India, Bangladesh and Pakistan, promoting continuous improvement and supporting the ambitious objectives of our Primark strategy.
The Ethical Trade Executive (ETE)
will play a key role in strengthening supply chain management and traceability within the Primark Cotton Programme in India. The role is responsible for coordinating with supply chain partners, ensuring smooth cotton flow, conducting audits and checks, resolving issues, and delivering training to improve efficiency and data accuracy. The ETE will also contribute to the evolution of supply chain and traceability strategy, prioritisation, process optimisation, and development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The role will also involve engagement with Primark teams in other countries to support alignment on supply chain and traceability approaches.
What You’ll do:
This role will focus on India and have the following key responsibilities:
Support effective supply chain management
- Engage actively with different partners, including the programme implementers and the businesses (farmers, ginners, spinners etc) within the supply chain. This will require undertaking frequent mill
