Job Duties and Responsibilities:*POSITION IS LOCATED IN DE BACA COUNTY, NM
- Provide leadership and guidance to Extension education programs for adults and youth in the areas of:



4-H and Youth Development; special interest audiences in Agriculture, Family and Consumer Sciences: community/ economic development; other adult and youth leaders and the public throughout the county, as the job requires.
- Collaborate with youth serving community organizations and agencies to help further Extension 4-H Youth Development programs.
- Support annual County Fair efforts.
- Recruit, train, and support volunteer adult and youth leaders.
- Team with other Extension Agents in the county and district and with State Specialists, District Department Head and Administrators in planning and implementing total Extension programs.
- Maintain a favorable public image and gain acceptance for self, Extension and Current Mexico State University among the county citizens.
- Administratively responsible for the County Program Director and through him/her to the Eastern District Department Head.
- Provide timely reports as required.
