Lab Technician (Blood Collection) - Job Responsibilities
- Collect blood samples safely using proper venipuncture techniques.
- Verify patient identity and ensure correct labeling of samples.
- Maintain hygiene, sterilization, and infection control standards.
- Handle, store, and transport samples properly to avoid contamination.
- Maintain accurate records of collected samples and patient details.
- Explain procedures to patients and make them comfortable during collection.
- Dispose of biomedical waste according to safety guidelines.
- Ensure all equipment and collection materials are clean and ready.
- Follow NABL/clinical lab protocols and quality standards.
- Assist in basic laboratory procedures if required.

Educational Qualification
- DMLT (Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology)
- BMLT (Bachelor in Medical Laboratory Technology)




- Certificate in Phlebotomy (preferred)
- 10+2 (Science - Biology preferred) with relevant training

Experience
- 0-2 years experience in blood collection or laboratory work
- Freshers with proper training can also apply

Skills Required:
- Valuable venipuncture skills
- Knowledge of infection control & biomedical waste management
- Basic computer knowledge for record entry
- Good communication & patient handling skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fresher, Internship, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹9,472.01 - ₹15,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 8 per week
