Injection Molding Shift Supervisor:
Job Title: Injection Molding Shift Supervisor Department: Production Reports To: Production manager / plant head Job

Summary: The Injection Molding Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing injection molding operations during the assigned shift, ensuring production targets, quality standards, safety compliance, and manpower management are achieved efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Production Management Plan and execute daily production as per schedule. Ensure machines run as per standard cycle time. Monitor production output and minimize downtime.Conduct full-load trials and process validation when required.

2. Machine & Process Control Supervise injection molding machines (e.g., 80T-250T or as applicable).Set and optimize process parameters (temperature, pressure, cycle time).Troubleshoot issues like short shot, flash, bubble, burn mark, sink mark, etc. Coordinate with maintenance team for breakdown handling.

3. Quality ControlEnsure first-off approval before mass production. Monitor rejection levels and reduce scrap.



Maintain quality records and shift reports. Ensure proper end filling and avoid rejection (as you mentioned earlier in your production updates).

4. Manpower Handling Allocate operators and helpers effectively. Train recent operators on machine handling and safety. Monitor discipline and attendance during shift. Maintain smooth shift handover process.

6. Documentation & Reporting Prepare daily production report. Record downtime, rejection, and breakdown details. Report major issues to Production Manager.

Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of injection molding process. Basic knowledge of molds, heaters, hydraulic systems. Leadership and problem-solving skills. Basic computer knowledge (Excel, production reports)

Qualification: Diploma / ITI in Mechanical / Plastic Technology.3-8 years experience in injection molding field.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹19,181.82 - ₹58,063.13 per month
