Role Objective
As a Trainee Survey Programmer, you will be the technical backbone of our quantitative research projects. You will be responsible for transforming complex questionnaires into interactive, user-friendly online surveys using industry-leading platforms and web technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Client Collaboration: Work closely with global clients and project managers to understand and document complex survey requirements.
- Survey Development: Design, script, and develop interactive, web-based survey programs using industry-standard platforms (e.g., Decipher, Forsta, or Confirmit).
- Quality Assurance: Rigorously test and deploy survey programs, ensuring all logical flows, quotas, and skip patterns function perfectly across all devices.
- Technical Support:
Proactively troubleshoot survey-related issues, bugs, or data inconsistencies to ensure mínimal downtime.
- Program Maintenance: Regularly update and maintain active survey programs to reflect real-time changes in client requirements or fieldwork needs.
- Team Synergy: Coordinate with data processing and project management teams to ensure the successful, on-time delivery of research projects.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, BCA.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with a high level of logical reasoning.
- Self-Starter: Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision while also thriving in a fast-paced team environment.
- Communication: Robust verbal and written communication skills to effectively translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
