The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for supervising daily cleaning and sanitation operations within the F&B; premises. The role ensures that all dining areas, kitchens, storage zones, and service areas maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in compliance with food safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Supervision of Housekeeping Operations
- Supervise housekeeping staff, stewards, and utility workers.
- Allocate daily cleaning tasks and prepare duty rosters.
- Monitor cleaning schedules for kitchen, dining, storage, washrooms, and service areas.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are maintained.

2. Hygiene & Compliance Management
- Ensure compliance with hygiene standards as per Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) guidelines.
- Monitor sanitation procedures in food preparation and service areas.
- Ensure proper waste segregation and disposal practices.
- Coordinate pest control and deep cleaning activities.

3. Inventory & Supplies Control
- Maintain adequate stock of cleaning materials and consumables.




- Ensure proper storage and secure usage of cleaning chemicals.
- Monitor usage to control wastage and operational costs.

4. Quality & Safety Monitoring
- Identify potential hygiene risks and take corrective action.
- Ensure safe working practices to prevent contamination or accidents.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs related to hygiene and facility upkeep.

5. Training & Staff Development
- Train housekeeping staff on SOPs, hygiene standards, and safety procedures.
- Monitor grooming, discipline, and attendance.
- Guide team members to improve efficiency and performance.

6. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain cleaning logs, inspection checklists, and sanitation reports.
- Assist during internal and external hygiene audits.
- Report operational issues to management.

Required Qualifications
- Diploma / Degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or Housekeeping.
