nKey Responsibilities

nSecurity & Authorization Management
n
- n
- Design, build, review, and maintain SAP authorization roles across SAP S/4HANA landscapes.n
- Analyze existing role designs and recommend improvements based on security, compliance, and operational efficiency requirements.n
- Evaluate role architecture and identify advantages, limitations, and risks associated with current authorization models.n
- Support business and IT teams in resolving authorization-related issues.n

nOData & CDS Security
n
- n
- Perform authorization trace, debugging, and troubleshooting for OData Services and CDS Views.n
- Analyze authorization failures related to Fiori applications, OData services, and CDS-based reporting.n
- Work with development and functional teams to resolve authorization issues impacting SAP Fiori applications.n

nSAP Security Configuration

- n
- Strong understanding and maintenance of SU24, SU22, and SAP-delivered authorization proposals.n




- Review and optimize authorization defaults associated with standard and custom transactions, reports, and OData services.n
- Ensure authorization concepts align with SAP best practices and audit requirements.n

nGovernance, Risk & Compliance
n
- n
- Perform Segregation of Duties (SoD) analysis and remediation.n
- Review sensitive transaction access and critical authorization objects.n
- Identify and mitigate security risks arising from excessive authorizations and conflicting role assignments.n
- Support compliance and audit activities related to SAP security and access controls.n

nCustom Developments & Reporting Security

- Manage authorization requirements for custom transactions, reports, programs, and developments.n
- Collaborate with ABAP developers to secure custom applications and ensure appropriate authorization checks are implemented.n
