Job DescriptionSenior Backend Developer (Java, Spring WebFlux, AWS) Experience: 6 to 10 Years Location: [Location/Remote/Hybrid] Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer to join our engineering team and contribute to the development of a large-scale, cloud-native Energetic Service Options (DSO) Platform . The role involves building reactive microservices, event-driven workflows, and scalable APIs using modern Java, Spring Boot WebFlux, PostgreSQL, and AWS technologies. You will work on mission-critical systems responsible for high-volume data ingestion, dataset generation, entitlement management, and API delivery while ensuring performance, reliability, security, and observability across distributed cloud applications. Key Responsibilities Backend Development Design, develop, and maintain high-performance reactive REST APIs using Java 17+,Reactive Spring (WebFlux ), and Spring Boot, Build fully asynchronous workflows using Project Reactor (Mono/Flux) .
Develop scalable microservices following cloud-native architecture principles. Implement secure APIs with OAuth2 Resource Server and role-based access controls. Event-Driven Systems Develop event-driven solutions using AWS Lambda, SQS FIFO, and EventBridge . Design resilient message-processing workflows with retries, dead-letter queues, and idempotent processing. Build background processing jobs with concurrency controls and observability. Database & Data Engineering Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas and queries. Work with Spring Data R2DBC and jOOQ for reactive and type-safe database interactions. Implement database versioning and migrations using Flyway . Utilize PostgreSQL features including JSONB, partitioning, indexing, and hierarchical data structures. Cloud & DevOps Deploy and manage applications on AWS using: ECS Fargate Lambda SQS Aurora PostgreSQL S3 Secrets Manager DynamoDB CloudWatch Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code using CloudForma
