n Job Summary
nThe Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall maintenance, operations, safety, and infrastructure management of the university campus. The role ensures a safe, effective, and well-maintained environment that supports academic, administrative, residential, and recreational activities. The incumbent will manage facility operations, vendor services, statutory compliance, and infrastructure development projects while ensuring optimal utilization of resources.

- Oversee the maintenance and operation of all campus buildings, utilities, equipment, and infrastructure.n
- Manage civil, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and landscaping services across the university.n
- Ensure uninterrupted functioning of utilities including power, water supply, sewage systems, DG sets, elevators, and other critical infrastructure.n




- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.n
- Supervise housekeeping, security, transport, and facility service providers to ensure service excellence.n
- Manage annual maintenance contracts (AMCs), vendor selection, negotiations, and performance monitoring.n
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations related to safety, fire, environmental, and building standards.n
- Lead campus safety initiatives, emergency preparedness plans, and risk management activities.n
- Monitor facility budgets, operational expenditures, and resource optimization initiatives.n
- Coordinate infrastructure expansion, renovation, and refurbishment projects.n
- Maintain facility records, compliance documentation, inspection reports, and asset inventories.n
- Collaborate with academic and administrative departments to address facility requirements and improve campus experience.n
