Job description – Structural Designer

- Produce 3D models consistent with instruction, industry guidelines, and KP&J; A&E; standards and practices.n
- Clearly annotate, dimension, and detail 2D production drawings in conformance to KP&J; standards and practices.n
- Manage the BIM workflow including folder organization, sheet sets, geo-location, plots, conversions, and transmittals.n
- Maintain structural BIM / CAD files for use in the structural design drawings (clean-up, audit, reference, troubleshooting).n
- Interface with engineers and clients to coordinate BIM modelling content and approaches, model exchanges, quality control, and delivery.n
- Use tools such as Navisworks for project collaboration across multiple disciplines.n
- Prepare and review project deliverables for client submissions.n
- Create 3D views or renderings on an as-needed basis for marketing or project use.n

nQualifications:
n
- n




- 2 to 3 years of experience in preparing structural construction documents using Revit/BIM project delivery.n
- Up-to-date knowledge and expertise with Revit softwaren
- Up-to-date knowledge and expertise with AutoCAD softwaren
- Strong understanding of how a building comes togethern
- Ability to think in 3-Dn
- Ability to draw sections and details with minimal input from the engineern
- Proficiency with written and verbal communication skillsn
- The ideal candidate will enjoy being part of a teamn
