Data Catalog Administrator Position
nDescription
nWe are looking for a Mid-Level Data Catalog Administrator with around 5 years of experience to manage and optimize our Atlan or Collibra environments. You will be responsible for platform configuration, user access management, and the operational health of our enterprise metadata landscape.
nResponsibilities

- Administer the Atlan / Collibra platform, encompassing instance configuration, environment management, and system upgrades.n
- Manage Atlan tenant configurations, workspace settings, and system updates.n
- Oversee and configure automated metadata harvesting, lineage capture, and data profiling jobs.n
- Manage user provisioning, role-based access control (RBAC), and Single Sign-On (SSO)/LDAP integrations to ensure secure access.n
- Facilitate governance workflows such as asset certification, glossary updates, and issue management.n
- Partner with data stewards to enforce data quality rules and monitor data health.n
- Monitor and troubleshoot automated metadata synchronization jobs,



API integrations, and connectivity between the catalog and data sources.n
- Execute setting refreshes, capacity planning, and periodic health checks, ensuring platform performance meets enterprise SLAs.n
- Support ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, and Change Management) via ServiceNow, managing platform-related tickets and maintaining Knowledge Base Articles.n
- Assist in periodic GxP reviews, user access audits, and Disaster Recovery simulations for the data catalog platform.n

nCore Technical Skills

- n
- 5+ years of platform administration experience, with extensive hands-on expertise managing Atlan / Collibra instances.n
- Strong understanding of user access models, SSO/SAML integrations, and API-based platform connectivity.n
- Familiarity with querying and connecting to contemporary cloud data platforms (specifically Snowflake) for troubleshooting sync issues.n
