Job Description
We are looking for a Tax Associate – 1040 HNI to support the preparation of complex US individual income tax returns for High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNI) . The ideal candidate should have robust exposure to US individual taxation, particularly Form 1040 , and experience handling complex tax situations involving investments, multiple income sources, and various states.

- Prepare and review US Individual Income Tax Returns – Form 1040 for HNI and high-income individual clients.n
- Handle complex individual tax returns involving:n
- Schedule A – Itemized Deductionsn
- Schedule B – Interest & Dividendsn
- Schedule C – Business Incomen
- Schedule D – Capital Gains & Lossesn
- Schedule E – Rental, Partnership, S-Corporation, and Trust/Estate incomen
- Form 8949 – Capital Asset Transactionsn
- Foreign income and investment-related reporting, where applicable.n
- Analyze K-1s, brokerage statements, investment income, rental income, and other supporting documents .n




- Assist with tax planning and identify potential tax-saving opportunities.n
- Prepare federal and state individual tax returns and related schedules.n
- Perform tax research on complex individual taxation matters.n
- Identify inconsistencies, missing information, and potential tax issues during return preparation.n
- Communicate with clients and/or onshore teams to obtain necessary information and clarifications.n
- Assist in responding to IRS/state notices and tax queries .n
- Ensure tax returns are prepared accurately and submitted within prescribed deadlines.n
- Maintain proper documentation and workpapers in accordance with firm policies.n
- Review work prepared by junior associates, where applicable.n
- Stay updated on changes in US federal and state tax laws and regulations .n

nRequired Qualifications

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field .n
- 1+ years of relevant experience in US
