Next Step HR is hiring a Factory Supervisor for a manufacturing setup. The role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day factory operations, managing production activities and maintaining quality standards.

nLocation: Ahmedabad India (On-site, Full-time)
nExperience: 2–5 years in factory/production supervision
n

nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- n
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activitiesn
- Allocate work to operators and production staff according to prioritiesn
- Monitor production targets, work progress and deadlinesn
- Ensure proper utilisation of manpower, machines and materialsn
- Check the quality of finished and semi-finished productsn
- Identify production issues and take corrective actionn
- Coordinate with Design, Production, Purchase and Dispatch teamsn
- Monitor machine performance and report breakdowns or maintenance requirementsn
- Ensure minimum material wastage and control reworkn
- Maintain daily production reports and attendance recordsn
- Ensure workers follow company rules, safety procedures and PPE requirementsn




- Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping across the factoryn
- Train and guide operators and new production employeesn
- Handle production-related problems and escalate major issues to managementn
- Ensure materials are available as per production requirementsn
- Monitor work quality and productivity of team membersn
- Ensure urgent and priority jobs are completed on timen
- Support management in improving production efficiency and reducing costsn

nREQUIREMENTS:

- n
- ITI / Diploma / Graduate in Mechanical, Production or a related field preferredn
- 3–5 years of experience in factory or production supervisionn
- Good knowledge of manufacturing and production processesn
- Strong manpower handling and team management skillsn
- Ability to understand production drawings and measurementsn
- Positive problem-solving and decision-making skillsn
- Basic computer knowle
