Role Description The Finance Manager is a full-time, in office role based in Kolkata, responsible for overseeing all financial operations at Jewel India Jewellers. The role includes managing accounting activities, monitoring cash flow, and preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. The Finance Manager will handle budgeting and forecasting, cost control related to inventory and procurement,



and analysis of sales and margins to support management decisions. Day-to-day tasks involve supervising accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll coordination, while ensuring adherence to relevant tax, regulatory, and compliance requirements. The role also requires collaborating with store leadership on financial planning, implementing internal controls, and supporting audits to maintain transparency and accuracy in financial reporting.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and cash flow management.
Hands-on experience with accounting processes, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliation, and payroll coordination.
Knowledge of taxation, regulatory compliance, and audit practices relevant to retail or jewellery businesses.
