Role Description The Last Mile Hub Manager is a full time, on-site role based in Tri-City, CA, responsible for overseeing daily operations at the local delivery hub. This role manages last-mile distribution activities, including route planning, dispatching, and monitoring deliveries to ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective service. The manager leads hub staff and delivery partners, coordinates shift schedules, enforces safety and compliance standards, and drives continuous process improvement. They track operational performance metrics, manage inventory and parcel flow, and collaborate closely with regional operations, customer support, and technology teams to resolve issues and enhance service quality. The role also involves implementing sustainability practices within hub operations and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders regarding service levels and operational changes.
Qualifications
Experience in logistics or supply chain operations, ideally in last-mile delivery, hub management, or distribution center leadership.
Strong people management skills,



including team supervision, performance coaching, and workforce scheduling.
Operational planning and execution skills, such as route optimization, process improvement, and workflow management.
Comfort with technology, including logistics platforms, routing tools, warehouse management systems, and basic data analysis.
Ability to monitor KPIs, interpret operational data, and implement actions to improve efficiency, reliability, and cost control.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills for coordinating with drivers, staff, customers, and cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of safety, compliance, and quality standards in logistics and warehouse environments.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions quickly in a dynamic, time-sensitive environment.
