About the Role
The Receptionist will provide professional front-desk support, manage patient registration and appointments, assist with patient flow, and ensure a smooth and positive patient experience.

Responsibilities
Welcome and professionally attend to patients and attendants visiting the hospital.
Manage patient registration, appointments, enquiries, and follow-up visits.
Guide patients to the appropriate doctor, department, investigation, or service.
Manage incoming calls and provide accurate information as per hospital protocols.
Coordinate with doctors, optometry, counselling, billing, nursing, OT, and other departments for smooth patient flow.
Maintain accurate patient registration, appointment, and front-office records.
Assist patients with OPD procedures, billing, documentation, and other formalities.
Inform patients about appointment timings,



waiting periods, and required procedures.
Handle patient queries and complaints politely and escalate clinical or sensitive matters to the concerned department.
Ensure proper communication of doctor schedules, visiting doctors, camps, and hospital services.
Maintain confidentiality of patient information and hospital records.
Ensure the reception area remains clean, organized, and qualified.
Support the hospital in maintaining a positive patient experience.
Assist in managing patient queues and reducing unnecessary waiting time.
Coordinate with the counselling team for patients advised for surgery or further treatment.
Participate in hospital camps, awareness programs, meetings, training, and other assigned activities.

Qualifications
Graduate in any discipline; healthcare/hospital experience preferred.
1–2 years of experience in reception, front office, hospital, clinic, or customer serv
