A reputed Cardiac Care Hospital in Vadodara is looking for an experienced and responsible IPD Head to oversee the day-to-day operations of the In-Patient Department (IPD).

The ideal candidate should have strong hospital administration skills, excellent communication abilities and previous experience managing IPD operations in a hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee the overall day-to-day functioning of the IPD department.
- Ensure smooth coordination between doctors, nursing staff, patients and other hospital departments.
- Monitor patient admissions, transfers and discharges.
- Coordinate with medical, nursing, billing and administrative teams to ensure efficient patient flow.
- Ensure patients and their attendants receive appropriate support and assistance.
- Monitor bed availability and coordinate bed allocation.
- Address patient and attendant queries, concerns and service-related issues.
- Ensure hospital policies, procedures and service standards are followed.
- Monitor documentation and ensure accurate and timely completion of IPD-related records.




- Coordinate with nursing and clinical teams regarding patient requirements.
- Identify operational issues and take appropriate action to resolve them.
- Support management in improving patient experience and IPD efficiency.
- Prepare and maintain relevant departmental reports and records.

Eligibility & Skills

- Any Graduate from a recognised institution.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an IPD Head in a hospital is mandatory.
- Previous experience in a cardiac care / multi-speciality hospital will be an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- English proficiency is mandatory.
- Strong coordination and team-management abilities.
- Good knowledge of hospital IPD processes and patient flow.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Professional and patient-focused approach.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Salary

₹40,000 CTC per month
