About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Network VAPT Engineer to join our cybersecurity team. The candidate will be responsible for conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing of network infrastructure, identifying security weaknesses, validating vulnerabilities, and preparing detailed technical reports.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform Network Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) for internal and external network environments.
- Conduct network reconnaissance, enumeration, vulnerability scanning, exploitation, and validation.
- Identify vulnerabilities in servers, firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs, network devices, and other infrastructure components.
- Perform manual testing in addition to automated vulnerability scanning.
- Validate and demonstrate the impact of identified vulnerabilities.
- Prepare detailed VAPT reports with severity ratings, technical findings, evidence, business impact, and remediation recommendations.
- Work with clients and internal teams to understand network architecture and testing requirements.
- Conduct retesting after remediation to verify whether vulnerabilities have been properly addressed.
- Maintain proper documentation of testing activities and findings.
- Stay updated with emerging vulnerabilities, attack techniques, and security best practices.





Required Technical Skills

- Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, FTP, SSH, SMTP, SNMP and other network protocols.
- Knowledge of network security concepts, firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, routing and switching.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as:
- Nmap
- Nessus
- OpenVAS
- Qualys
- Metasploit
- Wireshark
- Nuclei
- Netcat
- Working knowledge of Kali Linux or other security-focused Linux distributions.
- Understanding of common network vulnerabilities and attack techniques.
- Knowledge of CVSS and vulnerability severity classification.
- Ability to understand scan results and manually validate vulnerabilities.

Good to Have

- CTF participation or cybersecurity lab experience.
- Knowledge of OWASP and common web security concepts.
- Certifications such as CEH, OSCP, Security+, eJPT, or equivalent.
- Experience in preparing professional VAPT reports.
- Basic scripting knowledge in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

- Good communication and report-writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and with a cybersecurity team.
- Willingness to learn and work on different client environments.
- Candidates who have participated in CTFs or have hands-on VAPT experience will be preferred

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
