AVP / VP – Content Acquisition, Syndication & Alliances

Location: Worli, Mumbai

Rajshri Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an accomplished and commercially driven senior media and entertainment professional to lead its Content Acquisition, Syndication & Alliances function.

The role will be responsible for developing and executing strategies across content acquisition, licensing, syndication, domestic and international distribution, and strategic alliances , with a strong focus on expanding Rajshri’s content footprint and driving sustainable revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead domestic and international content sales, distribution, licensing and syndication across digital and traditional media platforms.

• Develop and execute commercial strategies to maximise content monetisation and revenue opportunities across markets and territories.

• Identify and lead strategic content acquisition and licensing opportunities across regional, national and international markets.

• Develop and strengthen long-term relationships with broadcasters, OTT platforms, digital platforms, content owners, aggregators and other industry stakeholders.

• Identify new business opportunities, territories, platforms and strategic partnerships to expand the company’s content portfolio and distribution network.





• Lead commercial negotiations and collaborate closely with Legal and internal stakeholders to structure and execute licensing and distribution agreements.

• Represent Rajshri at leading international content markets and industry forums, including MIPCOM, MIPTV, ATF and other relevant platforms.

• Provide strategic oversight of content operations across YouTube and other digital platforms, with a focus on audience growth and monetisation.

Ideal Profile

The ideal candidate will bring:

• Significant leadership experience in content acquisition, licensing, syndication, distribution or media business development .

• Strong understanding of the domestic and international media, broadcast, OTT and digital ecosystem .

• Demonstrated track record of commercial negotiations, strategic partnerships and revenue generation .

• Established relationships and a strong qualified network across the media and entertainment industry.

• Sound understanding of content licensing, distribution models and commercial agreements.

• Strong strategic, commercial and stakeholder management capabilities.

• Willingness to travel internationally for content markets, business development and industry engagements.
