Qualifications

- Strong expertise in Azure Databricks, Apache Spark, and distributed data processing, with experience building and optimizing large-scale data pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with Azure data services such as Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and related storage and compute components.
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in Databricks,



such as Python, PySpark, and SQL, including writing productive queries and scripts.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT design, data warehousing concepts, and best practices for data quality and governance.
- Experience working in analytics-oriented environments, preferably in sales, marketing, or customer insights domains.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, translate business requirements into technical solutions, and communicate complex concepts clearly.
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes, version control (e.g., Git), and DevOps practices for data and analytics projects.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in a hybrid work environment and comfort working with global stakeholders across time zones.
- Relevant certifications in Azure or data engineering (e.g., Azure Data Engineer Associate is a bonus
