Assistant Manager – Loan / Lease Operations

Role Overview

We are looking for an Assistant Manager to manage end-to-end Loan/Lease Origination Operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of applications, documentation, contract activation, and payouts within defined SLA/TAT.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage loan/lease applications and ensure accurate verification of customer documents, KYC, and bank details.
2. Review credit conditions, approvals, deal structures, and required documentation.
3. Oversee preparation, verification, and coordination of contracts for timely execution and activation.
4. Ensure completion of pre-disbursement checks and coordinate payout processing.
5. Coordinate with Sales, Credit, Risk, Legal, and Finance teams for smooth transaction processing.
6. Identify and resolve documentation gaps, discrepancies, and operational queries.
7. Monitor SLA/TAT, quality, compliance, and First Time Right targets.
8. Ensure accurate maintenance of records, reports, and transaction-related documentation.

Support Sales teams with operational queries and drive process improvement and operational efficiency.

Requirements
- 7–9 years of experience in Loan/Lending Operations, Leasing Operations, Loan Origination, Sales Support, or Shared Services.
- Solid experience in KYC, documentation, transaction processing, and contract activation.
- Good understanding of loan/lease processing and pre-disbursement activities.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple transactions.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office/Excel and relevant business systems.
- Knowledge of CDD, compliance, fraud prevention, or risk controls will be an advantage.
- Ability to independently manage operational activities and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
