Job Purpose
The role is responsible for working closely with Regulatory Finance to validate, certify, and act as a checker for all financial computations across the loan lifecycle. This includes oversight of financial logic embedded in the loan journey, KFS creation and deployment, audit of computation accuracy across all scenarios, and review of Statement of Account (SOA) disclosures to ensure fairness and transparency. The role also drives decision-making on corrective actions and ensures permanent resolution of identified issues.
Duties and Responsibilities
? Financial Computation Governance
o Certify and validate all loan-related financial computations (APR, EMI, interest, BPI, capitalization, repayment).
o Ensure consistent financial logic across systems, collaterals, and customer documents.
? KFS Creation, Validation & Deployment
o Create, validate, and deploy KFS for current products.
o Ensure accurate APR, BPI, and repayment details.
o Update KFS clauses per RBI guidelines and transparency norms.
? Product Program Guideline (PPG) Compliance
o Monitor charges against approved PPG ranges.
o Identify deviations, compute impact, and support corrective actions.
? Collateral Review & Alignment (Beyond KFS)
o Review all loan collaterals (agreements, letters, SOA, digital screens).
o Align KFS, agreements, system logic, and customer communication.
o Correct mismatches or unfair representations.
? RBI Circular & Regulatory Compliance
o Track and interpret RBI circulars.
o Assess impact on computations, KFS, and collaterals.
o Drive timely implementation of regulatory changes.
? Process & Product Audits (FPC Lens)
o Conduct periodic audits for pricing, charges, and disclosures.
o Identify gaps and recommend corrective actions.
? Financial Computation Enhancements & Projects
o Lead RBI/governance-driven computation changes.
o Coordinate with IT, Ops, Product, and Finance for deployment.
o Validate end-to-end implementation.
? Corrective Action & Issue Resolution
o Review SOA and customer-level outcomes.
o Recommend refunds, reversals, or system fixes.
o Ensure permanent resolution through process changes.

• Zero regulatory breaches related to financial computation and disclosure
• Accurate and compliant KFS across all products
• Reduction in customer complaints linked to pricing, APR, and charges
• Timely implementation of regulatory and audit observations
• Robust preventive controls embedded in systems and processes
Major Challenges
• High Regulatory Sensitivity - Financial computation, APR disclosure, KFS accuracy, and SOA fairness are directly governed by RBI guidelines, making even minor errors high-risk from a regulatory and supervisory standpoint.
• Multiple Product and System Dependencies - Each product follows a distinct Product Program Guideline (PPG), system configuration, and set of collaterals, making standardization and centralized validation challenging.
