The company is a growing consumer brand with a diverse product portfolio and sourcing requirements across domestic and international markets.

About the Role

The Commercial Head will lead the overall procurement and sourcing strategy across categories, reporting directly to the CEO.

The role will own vendor management, negotiations, contracts, payment terms and cost optimisation, while managing category procurement managers.

The position will also be responsible for international sourcing, import/export, customs and compliance, including accessory sourcing from China and beauty ingredient imports.

This is a leadership role requiring strong experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain and commercial negotiations.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead procurement and sourcing strategy across all categories.
- Own vendor negotiations, contracts, payment terms and cost optimisation.
- Manage category procurement managers, set priorities and review performance.
- Own inventory planning inputs jointly with Product and Sales teams.
- Manage import/export processes, customs and compliance, including China sourcing.
- Drive cost-saving initiatives and develop alternate vendors.




- Build supply chain resilience through diversified sourcing.
- Set procurement policies and governance standards across categories.
- Partner with Finance on payment terms, working capital and landed-cost optimisation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with domestic and international suppliers.

Candidate Requirements

- 15+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain or commercial functions.
- Significant experience in fashion accessories, beauty, cosmetics, FMCG, D2C or e-commerce.
- Strong experience in vendor negotiation, contract negotiation and cost optimisation.
- Experience managing category procurement teams/managers.
- Working knowledge of import/export, customs and compliance.
- Strong experience in international sourcing, particularly China sourcing.
- Experience working with Product and Sales teams on inventory planning.
- Proven experience in cost reduction, alternate vendor development and supply chain resilience.
- Strong commercial, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable

- Experience sourcing hair accessories, beauty products, cosmetics or beauty ingredients.
- Experience with international vendors beyond China, including Southeast Asia.
- Experience working with fast-growing D2C, e-commerce or consumer brands.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement or a related field.
- MBA preferred.
