The job holder is responsible to ensure the timely return-to-service for the commercial Aircraft by providing an optimal structural repair solutions considering the time & cost aspects. This has to be ensured from a design and/or stress perspective for product Safety by engaging the right stakeholders.

Key Technical skills and activities:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Aerospace or Mechanical)
n
- 3 to 5 years of experience in wing In-service repairs
n
- Understanding of in-service and operator requirements
n
- Experience in wing repairs – Provide design solutions to in-service damages (accidental and aging).
n
- Preparation of Technical Disposition (TD), repair schemes, and TAS.
n
- Perform study and provide design decisions with appropriate repair solutions
n
- Sound knowledge in SRM chapters and repair principles.
n
- A/ C materials, fastener types and rules.
n
- Experience in handling Airbus documentation (Drawings, Technical notes, Manuals, Service Bulletin, SRM, …)
n
- Knowledge of the repair process in TRM.
n
- Review aircraft drawings to ensure accuracy.
n
- Collaborate with client technical team and prepare technical reports
n
- Prepare documents to explain and support repair decisions.
n
- Ensure repairs are done on time, maintaining aircraft safety.
