Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Major Incident Manager to lead and coordinate the response to critical incidents within our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing high-pressure situations, minimizing impact, and restoring services quickly and efficiently. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of ITIL best practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the resolution of major IT incidents, ensuring timely restoration of services.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including technical support, development, and operations, during incident response.
- Develop and maintain incident management processes and procedures.
- Conduct post-incident reviews to identify root causes and implement preventative measures.
- Communicate incident status, impact, and resolution plans to stakeholders at all levels.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential incidents.
- Ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs)



for incident resolution.

Qualifications

- Skills: Incident Management, Problem Management, ITIL Framework, Service Desk Operations, Stakeholder Communication, Leadership, Crisis Management, Root Cause Analysis, Technical Troubleshooting, Reporting.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Attributes: Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to remain calm under pressure, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, decisive leadership, proactive and detail-oriented.
