Frontend AI Engineer Reporting To: Chief AI Officer InCommon is hiring for a premier commodity management SaaS company, delivering mission-critical solutions across trading, risk, and supply chain for the global commodities sector. Our portfolio of Commodities Trading Risk Management (CTRM) solutions serves a demanding client base where performance, accuracy, and reliability are non-negotiable. And now we are rapidly transforming both our products and our organization, embedding AI across our platform and operations to change how our clients – and our own teams – work. As an Agentic Software Engineer reporting directly to the Chief AI Officer, you’ll rapidly enhance your work will bring them into the AI-enabled future. You’ll work the full stack, from data model and services through to the Modernize our established products, front-end and the services behind them, to drive recent sales and customer retention. Extend our products with AI-native capabilities such as MCP servers – so customers can use their own agents to unlock data in the platform.



Establish the AI-SDLC workflows, test harnesses, and review steps that hold quality steady at agentic pace – and own the result end to end, from design to release. 2–4 years of professional software engineering experience. ~ Expertise in at least one agentic coding tool (e.g., Our teams span many languages and frameworks, so you’ll need curiosity and a demonstrated aptitude for steering coding agents through ones you haven’t used before. ~ Energized by working across teams to share and learn best practices, particularly with GenAI and coding agents. Front-end / full-stack experience building user-facing applications. You’ve shipped in Node/TypeScript with React or Angular, Python, or modern desktop frameworks such as Electron or Tauri. Java, Microsoft .NET, RDBMS (MSSQL, Oracle). Design sensibility: you’ve built interfaces that non-technical users enjoy using. You’ve already shipped LLM-powered features and MCP servers to production. Experience in financial services, trading, or commodity/energy markets. A hands-on part in changing how an enterprise engineering team builds and ships commercial software in the GenAI era.
