Job Overview We are looking for a dynamic and technically oriented Area Sales Manager – Approvals & Specification to develop business through architects, electrical consultants, MEP consultants, project consultants, contractors, developers and end customers . The key responsibility will be to get Connect System products approved and specified in projects, tenders and consultant specifications , thereby creating a strong project pipeline and converting specifications into orders. Develop relationships with architects, MEP consultants, electrical consultants, PMC consultants and project decision-makers . Get products included in BOQs, tender documents, technical specifications and project specifications . Identify upcoming commercial, corporate, hospitality, healthcare, airport and infrastructure projects. Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations for consultants and project teams. Understand project requirements and recommend suitable Connect System products. Develop and maintain a project pipeline from specification → approval → tender → order . Coordinate with sales teams, dealers and distributors to convert approved projects into business.



Visit project sites and coordinate with contractors, electrical teams and procurement departments. Maintain complete project and approval records in CRM. Achieve monthly targets for new consultant approvals, specifications, projects and business conversion . Provide regular reports on project status, approvals, upcoming tenders and expected orders. Graduate / Diploma / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Civil, Mechanical or related field. ~3–7 years of experience in specification sales, project sales, consultant approvals or business development. ~ Experience in electrical products, wiring accessories, lighting, cable management, building materials, MEP products or interior products preferred. ~ Strong understanding of consultant-driven sales and project business . ~ Robust relationship-building and negotiation skills. ~ Good knowledge of local architects, consultants, contractors and project ecosystem will be an advantage. ~ Willingness to travel extensively for meetings, project visits and approvals. ~ Knowledge of CRM and sales reporting.
