Job Description: Technical Head Company: Ecowell India Location: JP Nagar, Bangalore (On-site) Reports to: CEO / Founder Experience: Minimum 5 years, exclusively in the Water Treatment Industry Salary: ₹10 - 12 LPA Qualification: B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering (mandatory)About the Role Ecowell India is looking for a technically solid, hands-on Technical Head to lead the design, execution, and quality of our water treatment systems — including RO plants, water softeners, and related installations. This is a hands-on technical leadership role for someone who understands water chemistry, plant design, and field execution, and who can guide our technician teams to deliver installations right the first time.What You'll Do Design and plan RO plants and water softener systems end-to-end, including layout, capacity sizing, and equipment selectionPlan plumbing and electrical requirements for installations, ensuring designs are practical and compliantGuide and support field technicians during installation with proper planning, drawings, and on-site troubleshootingReview and interpret water test reports (TDS, hardness, pH, contaminants, etc.) and recommend the right treatment solution (RO, softener, or combination systems) accordinglySelect and advise on the right pumps for each installation based on flow rate, pressure, and application requirementsDevelop, document, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for installation, servicing, and maintenance across all projectsTroubleshoot recurring technical issues (as seen in customer service escalations)



and build preventive processes to reduce repeat failuresTrain and upskill the technician team on installation best practices, water chemistry basics, and SOP adherenceCoordinate with the service team to ensure installations are executed with quality that minimizes future service complaintsStay updated on new technologies, membranes, and equipment in the water treatment industryWhat We're Looking For B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering (mandatory)Minimum 5 years of experience, exclusively in the Water Treatment / Water Industry — RO plants, softeners, or related systemsStrong working knowledge of:RO plant and water softener design and executionPlumbing and electrical planning for water treatment installationsPump selection and sizing (based on application, flow, and pressure)Reading and interpreting water test reports and recommending appropriate treatmentProven experience creating and implementing SOPs for installation and service qualityHands-on, field-ready approach — comfortable guiding technicians on-site, not just from a deskStrong problem-solving skills, especially around installation planning and troubleshootingGood communication skills to coordinate between technicians, service teams, and customersBased in Bangalore or willing to relocate to JP Nagar, BangaloreWhat We Offer Salary: ₹10 - 12 LPA (based on experience)Leadership role with direct ownership of technical design and execution qualityOpportunity to build and standardize processes (SOPs) across the organizationGrowing water treatment company with room to shape the technical direction
