Job Description

The Psychologist / Faculty will be responsible for teaching courses in Healthcare Psychology, Applied Psychology and Communication Skills , with a focus on preparing students for effective interpersonal, professional and patient-centric interactions in healthcare and allied-health environments.

The position will combine academic teaching, experiential learning, student mentoring, research, and industry/healthcare engagement .

The faculty member is expected to bring substantial professional experience in psychology and health.

Qualifications:

n

- Master's degree in psychology / clinical psychology / health psychology / counselling psychology / applied psychology or an equivalent relevant discipline.
n
- Strong academic and professional background in Psychology.

Experience of 10-15 years in the relevant field.

Strong knowledge of Psychology and Healthcare Psychology

n

Excellent communication and presentation skills

n

Strong interpersonal and counselling skills

Empathy and emotional intelligence

Ability to engage students through experiential teaching

Case-study and simulation-based teaching capability
