Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Oracle EBS R12 Financials Functional Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in Oracle Accounts Receivable (AR) and Oracle E-Business Tax (EBTax) . The ideal candidate should have experience in Oracle EBS implementation projects, functional configuration, requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, testing, documentation, and post-production support.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Lead requirement-gathering workshops with business users, accounting teams, and IT stakeholders.
n
- Analyze existing AR and tax processes and map business requirements to Oracle EBS R12 functionality.
n
- Configure and validate Oracle Accounts Receivable setups, including:
n
- Customer master and customer sites
n
- Transaction types and transaction sources
n
- Payment terms
n
- AutoAccounting
n
- Customer profile classes
n
- Receipt methods and receipt applications
n
- Configure Oracle E-Business Tax (EBTax) for US Sales Tax , including tax regimes, tax rates, tax rules, and exemptions.
n
- Support the complete AR lifecycle, including invoice creation, credit memos, debit memos, adjustments, receipts, reconciliation, accounting, and period-close activities.
n
- Conduct fit-gap analysis and recommend standard Oracle functionality and best practices.
n
- Prepare functional documentation, including BR100, MD120, configuration documents, process flows, test scripts, user manuals, and training materials .
n
- Support SIT, QA testing, UAT, defect analysis,



and business sign-off.
n
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for GL accounting validation and Create Accounting processes.
n
- Support cutover planning, configuration migration, deployment, and post-go-live hypercare.
n
- Conduct user training, walkthroughs, knowledge transfer, and BAU support handover.
n
- Independently manage functional requirements and ensure timely closure of deliverables and stakeholder action items.

Mandatory Skills

n

n
- 8–12 years of experience in Oracle EBS R12 Financials .
n
- Strong functional expertise in Oracle Accounts Receivable (AR) .
n
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Tax (EBTax) .
n
- Experience in Oracle EBS R12 implementation projects.
n
- Solid knowledge of AR configuration and business processes.
n
- Experience with customer setup, invoices, receipts, credit/debit memos, adjustments, and reconciliation.
n
- Knowledge of US Sales Tax configuration in Oracle E-Business Tax.
n
- Experience in requirement gathering and stakeholder management.
n
- Robust experience in fit-gap analysis and functional solution design.
n
- Experience preparing AIM methodology documentation , including BR100 and MD120.
n
- Experience supporting SIT, QA, UAT, deployment, and post-go-live support.
n
- Understanding of AR to GL accounting flow and reconciliation .
n
- Solid analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
n
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
