The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in installation, configuration, administration, implementation, SAP integration, Business Workspaces, Smart UI, OTDS, Archive Center, and Records Management .

Position Details

n

n

Role: OpenText Extended ECM for SAP Consultant

n

Location: Bangalore

n

Employment Type: Full-Time

n

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n

• Design, configure, administer, and support OpenText Extended ECM for SAP (xECM) solutions.

n

• Demonstrate strong understanding of both SAP and OpenText functionalities .

n

• Lead and deliver at least one end-to-end OpenText Extended ECM for SAP implementation .

n

• Configure and integrate OpenText solutions with SAP S/4HANA and relevant SAP business processes.

n

• Perform technical and functional configuration of SAP and OpenText Content Server .

n

• Configure Business Workspaces, References, and Relationships based on business requirements.

n

• Work with OpenText Content Server and Archive Server , preferably versions 16.x and above.

n





• Drive Fiori integration with xECM in collaboration with SAP Fiori/UI development teams.

n

• Design and configure Smart UI experiences for business users based on roles and business requirements using Perspective Manager .

n

• Work hands-on with OTDS (OpenText Directory Services), Archive Center , and related OpenText components.

n

• Configure and support OpenText Records Management capabilities.

n

• Troubleshoot integration, configuration, and application issues across SAP and OpenText environments.

n

• Collaborate with SAP, functional, technical, and business teams to deliver scalable ECM solutions.

n

Required Skills & Experience

n

• Strong hands-on experience with OpenText Extended ECM for SAP / xECM .

n

• Deep understanding of SAP and OpenText architecture, functionalities, and integration .

n

• Proven experience in installation, configuration, administration, and implementation of OpenText solutions.

n

• Successfully delivered at least one OpenText Extended ECM for SAP implementation .

n

• Strong experience integrating OpenText with SAP S/4HANA .

n

• Hands-on experience with Content Server, Archive Server, OTDS, and Archive Center .

n

• Experience configuring Business Workspaces, References, and Relationships .

n

• Experience with Smart UI and Perspective Manager .

n

• Knowledge of Records Management .

n

• Experience working with SAP Fiori integration with xECM .

n

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.

n

n

⭐ Good to Have

n

• Knowledge of OpenText Content Server REST APIs .

n

• Experience with newer OpenText platform versions and SAP S/4HANA environments.

n

• Experience working on enterprise Document Management / Enterprise Content Management implementations.

n

• Robust stakeholder communication and collaboration skills.
