NJob Summary:
NResponsible for conducting SMETA (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit)-APASCA CSCA Certified assessments across client sites in India to evaluate compliance with labour, health & safety, environmental, and business ethics standards.
NKey Responsibilities:

Conduct 2-pillar and 4-pillar SMETA audits at factories and facilities. N
Review documents, inspect sites, and interview workers & management. N
Identify non-conformities and prepare detailed audit reports & CAPRs. N
Ensure audits comply with SMETA guidelines and local labour laws. N
Coordinate audit schedules,
communicate with clients, and submit reports on time. N
Maintain skilled integrity and confidentiality at all times. N
nQualifications & Experience:

Graduate in Engineering / Social Sciences / Environmental Studies or related field. N
7+ years of experience in social compliance or ethical trade audits (SMETA, BSCI, SA8000 preferred). N
Knowledge of Indian labour & HSE laws. N
APSCA registration / SMETA auditor training preferred. N
Solid communication, analytical, and reporting skills. N
Willing to travel extensively across India. N
