We are looking for an experienced Safety Manager -CAMO to oversee and strengthen the Safety Management System (SMS) for our Non-Scheduled Operator (NSOP) operations. The role will be responsible for ensuring safe flight operations, regulatory compliance, proactive risk management, and continuous improvement of the organisation's safety standards
Reports to: Accountable Manager
Purpose:
To manage and maintain the CAMO Safety Management System (SMS), ensuring effective identification, assessment and control of continuing-airworthiness safety risks.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and maintain the CAMO SMS.
Identify hazards and conduct safety risk assessments.
Monitor Safety Performance Indicators (SPIs) and safety objectives.
Manage safety/occurrence reporting and investigations.
Monitor safety corrective and preventive actions.
Conduct safety assessments for Management of Change (MOC).
Promote safety awareness and a positive reporting culture.
Provide safety advice to the Accountable Manager.
Support DGCA audits, inspections and safety-related requirements.
Competency:
Relevant aviation/technical experience, CAMO knowledge, SMS training, and understanding of applicable DGCA/ICAO safety requirements.
