NRI Relationship Manager – Responsibilities
Manage NRI Client RelationshipsHandle a portfolio of NRI customers.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with high-value NRI clients.
Understand customers' financial needs and provide suitable banking solutions.
NRI Account ManagementManage NRE, NRO and FCNR accounts.
Assist customers with account opening, KYC, documentation and service requests.
Ensure compliance with RBI/FEMA regulations.
Sales & Business DevelopmentAcquire current NRI customers through referrals, leads and networking.
Cross-sell products such as:
Deposits and investments
Mutual funds
Insurance
Loans/mortgages
Remittance services
Credit cards
Achieve assigned revenue and business targets.
Remittances & Foreign ExchangeAssist with inward and outward remittances.
Handle foreign-exchange-related requirements.
Explain applicable exchange rates, charges and regulatory requirements.
Investment & Wealth ManagementUnderstand the investment objectives of NRI customers.
Recommend appropriate investment products based on customer profiles and risk appetite.
Coordinate with wealth-management and investment teams where required.
Customer ServiceResolve customer complaints and service issues promptly.
Coordinate with operations, compliance, forex and other internal departments.
Provide support to customers living overseas through phone, email and digital channels.
Compliance & Risk ManagementEnsure adherence to RBI, FEMA, AML, KYC and bank policies.
Monitor transactions and identify unusual or potentially suspicious activity.
Maintain accurate customer documentation and records.
Portfolio MonitoringTrack customer balances, transactions, deposits and investment activity.
Identify prospects to increase customer engagement and wallet share.
Regularly contact customers for relationship reviews.
