The X-Ray Technician is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment while ensuring patient safety, image quality, and adherence to radiation safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
Perform X-ray examinations as prescribed by the treating physician.
Prepare and position patients correctly for imaging procedures.
Operate X-ray equipment safely and efficiently.
Ensure radiation protection measures for patients, attendants, and staff.
Verify patient identity and maintain accurate imaging records.
Process, review, and upload X-ray images to the hospital information system/PACS.
Maintain cleanliness and routine care of X-ray equipment and imaging rooms.
Report equipment malfunctions promptly and coordinate maintenance.
Assist radiologists during special imaging procedures when required.
Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with hospital policies and statutory regulations.
Ensure availability of consumables and maintain departmental inventory.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
