We are looking for an experienced Senior Quality Engineer to manage customer quality activities in an automotive sheet metal components manufacturing/press shop workplace. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of dimensional inspection, quality documentation, problem-solving, and customer complaint handling.
Key Responsibilities
Handle customer quality issues, complaints, and corrective actions.
Perform layout inspection of sheet metal and pressed components.
Conduct dimensional inspection using height gauge and other measuring instruments.
Prepare and submit 8D reports and CAPA for quality issues.
Prepare and maintain PPAP documentation as per customer requirements.
Identify root causes of defects and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
Coordinate with production and other departments to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.
Maintain quality records and support continuous improvement activities.
Mandatory Skills
Minimum 4 years of experience in automotive sheet metal/press shop manufacturing.
Hands-on experience with height gauge instruments.
Strong knowledge of layout inspection of sheet metal parts.
Expertise in 8D/CAPA preparation and submission.
Valuable knowledge of PPAP documentation.
Solid problem-solving and analytical skills.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
