Develop and execute the centre’s business strategy in alignment with the organisation’s overall objectives: growth, market share, revenue, profitability.
Oversee all operations of the centre: radiology/imaging services, pathology/diagnostic laboratory, sample collection, home-services, reporting workflow.
Ensure process improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, patient satisfaction and service quality (turnaround times, patient feedback, workflow optimisation).
Manage the centre’s budget: revenue targets, expense control, capital expenditure, forecasting and reporting.
Lead, motivate and develop the team: technical staff (radiologists/pathologists/technologists), operations staff (front-office, sample-collection, logistics), service/support staff. Provide coaching, performance reviews, training.
Ensure solid leadership and maintain high standards of service,



patient-centric culture, compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards (e.g., NABH/NABL where relevant).
Monitor and maintain quality, safety, equipment uptime, maintenance, vendor relationships and regulatory compliance (including sample integrity, imaging protocols, radiation safety).
Provide input and partner with senior management for business planning, recent centre rollout, technology investments, market expansion.
Identify, pursue and establish new business opportunities: partnerships, collaborations with hospitals/clinics, marketing initiatives, lab-referral networks.
