Role:
To design and develop drivetrain parts of automotive e-transmission

Responsibilities:
Layout and packaging of transmission in vehicle
Design and development of gear train parts for adapting motor/engine
Design of forced lubrication system to meet motor cooling & transmission lubrication requirement.
Develop proto parts & tooled up parts - concurrent engg. with supplier.
Countermeasure to failures of driveline parts in testing.
Analysis of market problems/NVH & Assembly issues pertaining to transmission system (Pump, gear train, thermal system).

Competency Requirements Technical/ Functional:
CAD proficiency - Uni-graphics (mandatory) & CAE
Design: Gear & Shaft, Bearing selection, Lubrication & Cooling circuit




Work experience of Gear design software (UG/ Kissoft/ Romax)
Tolerance stack-up, GD&T;, Statistical analysis, BOM Management
Understanding of thermal and hydraulic system design
Understanding of production processes & design for manufacturing
Knowledge of problem-solving tools – FTA, DFMEA, QC tools Behavioral
Self-motivated, versatile, and team-player
Evidence of solid networking skills
Positive communication and presentation skills & an initiator Specific expertise required for functional area

Preferably have work experience in an OEM Good driving skills & Willingness to travel
