Job Summary

The Data Entry - Accounts will be responsible for accurate and timely data entry of scrap collection transactions, maintaining accounting records, and supporting the Accounts team in day-to-day financial operations. The role requires attention to detail, accuracy, and coordination with collection centres and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
Enter daily scrap collection data into the accounting system, Tally ERP, Zoho Books.
Record purchase transactions, invoices, receipts, and payment-related entries.
Verify the accuracy of collection data received from collection centres.
Maintain proper documentation and filing of purchase and accounting records.
Reconcile data received from collection centres with system records.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports related to scrap collections.




Coordinate with collection centre supervisors for missing or incorrect data.
Assist in vendor account reconciliation and ledger maintenance.
Ensure timely and accurate data entry while maintaining confidentiality.
Perform any other accounting and administrative tasks assigned by the reporting manager.

Required Skills
Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
Knowledge of Tally ERP/Prime or any ERP software is preferred.
Valuable numerical and analytical skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Positive communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work under deadlines.
