We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Area Sales Manager (ASM) for the Raipur location. The candidate will be responsible for driving sales, developing the local market, managing dealer/distributor relationships, achieving sales targets, and identifying new business prospects.
Candidates with prior experience in the Steel/TMT/Building Materials industry and strong knowledge of the Raipur/Chhattisgarh market will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Achieve assigned monthly and annual sales targets.
Develop and expand the dealer/distributor network in the assigned territory.
Maintain robust relationships with existing dealers, distributors, contractors, builders, and other key customers.
Identify recent business opportunities and generate leads within the local market.
Monitor competitor activities, pricing, market trends, and customer requirements.
Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments and coordinate with customers for payment follow-ups.
Conduct regular market visits and prepare sales/market reports.
Coordinate with internal teams for order processing, dispatch, and customer requirements.
Support implementation of sales schemes and promotional activities in the assigned territory.
Candidate Requirements
Education: Graduate/MBA preferred.
Experience: 4–8 years in Sales/Business Development.
Industry Experience: Experience in Steel/TMT/Building Materials preferred.
Good dealer/distributor network and knowledge of the Raipur/Chhattisgarh market.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
Target-oriented and comfortable with extensive local market travel.
Local candidates from Raipur will be preferred.
