Position: Chef de Partie (CDP)

Job Responsibilities
Manage and take ownership of the assigned kitchen section during daily operations.
Prepare and cook food as per Burma Burma’s standard recipes, quality standards, portion sizes, and presentation guidelines.
Ensure proper mise en place is completed before service and maintain smooth operations during peak hours.
Maintain consistency in taste, quality, texture, portioning, and presentation.
Supervise and guide Commis 1, Commis 2, and Commis 3 in daily kitchen activities.
Ensure timely preparation and dispatch of food orders during service.
Monitor the quality and freshness of raw materials and report any quality issues to the Sous Chef.
Follow proper storage, labelling, FIFO, expiry checks, and temperature-control procedures.
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, sanitation, FSSAI, HACCP, and company SOP compliance.
Control food wastage and ensure efficient utilization of ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the assigned section, equipment, and workstations.
Coordinate with the Sous Chef, Executive Chef,
and other kitchen sections for smooth service.
Support menu trials, new dish preparation, special events, and other kitchen requirements.
Ensure proper grooming, discipline, teamwork, and professional conduct within the kitchen.
Candidate Profile
2–5 years of relevant experience in a reputed restaurant, hotel, or specialty kitchen.
Experience in Asian / Oriental / Burmese / Pan-Asian cuisine will be an added advantage.
Solid knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, kitchen operations, and plating.
Positive understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen SOPs.
Leadership ability to guide junior kitchen team members.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during high-volume service.
Valuable communication, teamwork, discipline, and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to work rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays.
KEY – BENGALURU CANDIDATES PREFERRED
Candidates currently residing in Bengaluru will be preferred.
The selection process will be conducted through a Face-to-Face interview in Bengaluru, so candidates should be comfortable attending the interview in person.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
