A PGT Music is responsible for teaching music to senior secondary students (Classes XI–XII), developing students’ musical knowledge and performance skills, and preparing them for examinations and practical assessments.

Key responsibilities:
Teach music theory, practical music, and relevant syllabus topics to Classes XI–XII.
Provide training in vocal and/or instrumental music, according to the school curriculum.
Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and practical exercises.
Conduct music practical examinations and internal assessments.
Prepare students for board examinations, competitions, cultural programmes, and school events.
Organize and supervise music performances, assemblies, concerts, and other cultural activities.
Identify and encourage students with musical talent.
Maintain attendance, assessment records, and other academic documentation.
Coordinate with other teachers and school management for academic and cultural activities.
Maintain discipline and create a positive, creative learning workplace.
Stay updated with developments in music education and teaching methods.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹42,000.00 per month
