We are seeking an experienced Marine Mechanical Technician / Fitter (preferably ITI certified) to support our naval and marine equipment repair operations. The ideal candidate will have solid core skills in marine machinery overhauls, engine/deck equipment maintenance, and hands-on expertise in precision laser alignment for rotating machinery (motors, pumps, compressors, and propulsion shafts).
Key Responsibilities
Precision Laser Alignment
Perform high-precision shaft and couplings laser alignment on rotating equipment (motors, compressors, pumps, generators, and drive systems).
Measure, record, and evaluate runout, thermal growth tolerances, and soft foot conditions before and after machinery mounting.
Prepare detailed alignment reports and tolerance logs following alignment operations.
