Sky Ocean Shipping is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Accounts Manager to support the Accounts Manager in handling the company’s accounting and financial operations. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, good analytical skills, and the ability to manage responsibilities efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Accounts Manager in managing day-to-day accounting operations.
Handle and review accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoices, payments, and receipts.
Prepare monthly financial reports, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
Monitor customer and supplier accounts and follow up on outstanding balances.
Assist with bank reconciliations, cash-flow management, and month-end closing.
Review accounting entries and ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions.
Coordinate with customers, suppliers, banks, auditors, and internal departments when required.
Assist in budgeting, financial analysis, and preparation of management reports.
Maintain proper financial records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Support the Accounts Manager in resolving accounting issues and improving financial processes.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
3–6 years of relevant accounting experience.
Robust knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software/ERP systems.
Solid attention to detail, analytical, and organizational skills.
Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
