Field Sales Engineer to expand our footprint. In this role, you will own your territory, hunt for recent business, and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing. This is a field-heavy role requiring regular travel to client sites to conduct live demonstrations and deliver technical solutions.
What You Will Do (Responsibilities)
Own Your Territory: Prospect, generate leads, and build a robust pipeline from scratch.
Hit the Field: Travel regularly to manufacturing plants, labs, and industrial facilities.
Demonstrate Value: Conduct live product and software demonstrations for clients.
Consultative Selling: Analyze customer material processing needs and recommend custom laser setups.
Close Deals: Present technical proposals, negotiate pricing, and close high-value capital equipment contracts.
Drive Growth: Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales revenue quotas.
What We Are Looking For (Requirements)
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field.
Experience:
Minimum 3+ years of proven B2B field sales experience, specifically with industrial or medical laser machinery.
Results-Driven: A track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
Technical Aptitude: Robust understanding of laser optics, mechanical systems, or automation.
Travel: Willingness to travel up to 70% within the designated territory.
Logistics: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with CAD/CAM software.
Experience managing pipelines within Salesforce or a similar CRM.
