Prepare project-wise financial feasibility and profitability reports.
Monitor material and labor costs against allocated budgets. [1]
Manage accounts payable to local and national equipment vendors.
Follow up on accounts receivable from commercial clients or residential buyers.
Oversee daily cash flows required for active installation sites. [1, 2]
Handle financial paperwork for national and state-level solar schemes (such as PM Surya Ghar or PEDA guidelines in Punjab).
Ensure proper Goods and Services Tax (GST) filing on solar equipment and installation services.
Assist with internal and statutory audits.
Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Provide management with budget-versus-actual variance analysis
Key Skills Needed
Proficiency in accounting software (ERP, SAP, or QuickBooks) and advanced MS Excel.
Knowledge of renewable energy financing or Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) project accounting.
Solid negotiation skills for dealing with banks, lenders, and hardware suppliers
