Job Purpose

Aurizon Limited is seeking an analytical, detail-oriented Compliance Officer / AML Analyst to join our team. In this

role, you will perform day-to-day transaction screening, manage automated alerts, conduct due diligence, and help

safeguard our operations against financial crime in accordance with global AML/CFT standards and internal SOPs.

Comprehensive training on compliance tools and regulations will be provided.

Key Responsibilities
Transaction Monitoring:

o Monitor automated transaction screening systems and explicit false positives under senior guidance.

o Analyze alerts to detect financial crime typologies (structuring, smurfing, layering, or rapid fund

transfers).

o Complete transaction logs efficiently within time zones.

o Escalate confirmed red flags and suspicious cases directly to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer

(MLRO).

o Collaborate with internal business teams to resolve transaction inquiries.

o Provide feedback to fine-tune automated monitoring rules and stay updated on evolving AML trends.
Onboarding Client and KYC:

o Collect, verify, and maintain onboarding files (Corporate KYC,



director/UBO IDs, proof of address).

o Understanding of Know Your Customer (KYC) onboarding processes, Customer Due Diligence

(CDD), and the ability to conduct deep-dive EDD on high-risk individuals, corporate structures, and

Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs).

o Conduct name screening (Clients, counterparties and transactions) against global sanctions databases

(OFAC, UN, EU, HMT) and various other databases.
Any other ad hoc tasks assigned by the manager.

Required Qualifications
Experience: 0–3+ years in AML Compliance, Transaction Monitoring and KYC/CDD (Freshers welcome).
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and exposure to screening tools (e.g., World-Check,

LexisNexis, Interpol and Dow Jones) is a plus.
Key Competencies: Risk-based mindset, robust investigative curiosity, and diplomatic communication skills

to convey compliance requirements clearly

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
