Key Responsibilities
Design and develop electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, earthing, and lightning protection.
Prepare single line diagrams (SLD), schematic drawings, and layout plans.
Perform load estimation, cable sizing, voltage drop, and short circuit calculations.
Design low voltage (LV) and medium voltage (MV) systems based on project requirements.
Coordinate with HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting, and Architectural teams to avoid service clashes.
Ensure compliance with IEC, IS, NEC, and local electrical codes.
Prepare BOQ, technical specifications, and material submittals.
Review and approve shop drawings, vendor documents, and as-built drawings.
Conduct site inspections and support testing and commissioning activities.
Provide design input and technical support to the BIM/Revit modeling team.
Liaise with consultants, clients, and authorities for design approval and technical clarifications.
Ensure all designs are energy-productive, cost-effective, and protected.

Skills & Software Knowledge
Strong knowledge of electrical system design principles and power distribution.
Proficiency in AutoCAD,



Revit (preferred), and electrical calculation software such as:
ETAP, Ecodial, Amtech, or Dialux.
Familiarity with NFPA, NBC, IEC, and IS standards.
Ability to prepare technical reports, load schedules, and equipment datasheets.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Qualification
B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
Certification in Electrical Design / BIM / Revit (preferred).
3–10 years of experience in electrical design within MEP or construction projects.

Preferred Experience
Design experience in commercial, residential, industrial, or healthcare projects.
Exposure to BIM coordination and multi-disciplinary design environments.
Knowledge of renewable energy systems (Solar PV, energy optimization) is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
